New Inpatient Tower Details
Located at the site of the View Park garage, the new patient care tower will add hundreds of single-patient rooms across multiple floors, new operating rooms with perioperative support, an expanded emergency department, interventional suites that integrate medical equipment imaging with surgical equipment, and more.
The new tower will also have a parking garage with several hundred stalls and a skybridge to connect to the West Hospital.
Building the New Inpatient Tower
The Harborview Bond Program has begun schematic design of the new inpatient tower. The design-build team of architectural and construction experts are working closely with the Harborview team and clinical and front-line team representatives to turn high-level concepts into renderings of the patient care tower set to break ground in 2028, with slated completion in 2032.
