The Harborview Bond Program (HBP) has released a major institution master plan (MIMP) major amendment. The Program seeks public comments on the environmental impact statement (EIS) scoping. To achieve the bond goals, HBP needs to amend the City of Seattle MIMP that governs development on the campus (or major institution overlay [MIO]) of Harborview Medical Center.
Written comments will be accepted until May 1, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
King County has preliminarily identified that elements of the environment could be affected as a result of construction and operational include earth/topology (ECA steep slope), air quality/GHG, and energy and natural resources.
Written comments will be accepted via U.S. mail and e-mail until 5:00 PM, May 1, 2025.

An EIS scoping meeting will be held to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the proposed draft MIMP amendment and to provide input to the environmental review process. The meeting will consist of a presentation on the proposed Draft MIMP Amendment, an explanation of the EIS process, and an opportunity for the public to provide comments regarding the alternatives and the scope of analysis contained in the EIS.
