Auburn, WA – The Harborview Bond Program participated in the annual Regional Contractor’s Forum at the Muckleshoot Event Center on September 21. The outreach and networking forum shares information and opportunities among the contracting community, government agencies, entrepreneurs, project managers, and other collaborators.

More than 675 people attended the 18th annual forum. They learned about upcoming contract opportunities and supportive services from vendors and owners.

King County was well-represented at the Forum. Sound Transit and the Washington State Department of Transportation organized the event, and King County’s participation was coordinated by our Business and Contract Compliance Services Division.

This outreach aligns with the Harborview Bond Program team’s goal of sharing essential information with diverse communities and is also rooted in the County’s equity and social justice values. King County’s Harborview Bond Program team is focused on developing the phasing and sequencing plans for various campus projects, including the new medical tower, and renovations to Harborview Hall and other buildings. The team is planning additional outreach efforts in 2023.
